Osaka - Fine Art Photography

Born in Graz, brought up in Bad Aussee and Munich,
and a proud father of three daughters and one son,
Sascha Osaka’s talent was awakened 20 years ago
by a Tibetan Lama with the words “Did you know that you are an artist?”

After considering these words for nine months,
he gave up his job in middle management
and since then has worked as a freelance artist in Vienna and Krems.
Today, with empathy and a knowledge of human nature,
he works primarily in the fields of portraiture, events and festival photography.

“Photography is a strange phenomenon,"
writes Inge Morath in her legacy "Life as a Photographer":
“There is just this one technical instrument for it – the camera.
And yet no two photographers come back with the same image,
even when they have been in the same place at the same time.

“One’s personal vision is present right from the beginning – the result of an altogether special connection
between individual background and feelings, traditions and (their) rejection, sensitivity and voyeurism.
You trust your eye and cannot help but bare your soul.
One's vision finds of necessity the form suitable to express it."

"Did you know that you are an artist!" geweckt.

schrieb Inge Morath in ihrem Vermächtnis "Life as a Photographer":
